Kapanlagi.com - New facts about the drug abuse case involving Ammar Zoni have emerged. Ammar is said to not only consume drugs of the type sabu, but also allegedly involved in the buying and selling of these illegal goods with a supplier named Akri.
This was revealed during the drug case trial of Ammar Zoni held at the West Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (2/7). Ammar is also said to have sent Rp 50 million to be circulated as capital for the narcotics business.
Ammar Zoni clearly denies Akri's statements. Regarding this matter, Jon Mathias, Ammar's legal representative, also spoke up.

When met after the trial, Jon Mathias said that this trial was indeed scheduled for testimonies from the defendants. As for Akri's statement calling Ammar Zoni a funder, it cannot be considered true because Ammar himself denied it.
"The agenda was to testify as defendants, so the testimony of the witnesses can be used or not, it is not strong evidence," said Jon Mathias.
"Yes, it's Akri's statement, but it's denied by Ammar," he added.
In addition, Jon Mathias said that this is indeed just revealed. Because when arrested, there was no statement mentioning Ammar as a funder.
He also reiterated that Akri's testimony cannot be considered strong because there is no evidence. "In the examination record that we see and also included in the indictment by the prosecutor, there is no mention that Ammar funded," he said.
"It's just (recently) revealed, but the evidence is not strong," he concluded.
