"Actually, I used to practice the wedding ceremony in soap operas, I practiced it many times. But this feels different because it will determine my future," said Chand Kelvin in Jatikramat, Bekasi, West Java, on Sunday (30/6/2024).

"I'm definitely nervous, but I'm taking it easy. Insha Allah, Dea's brother will be the marriage guardian. Because her father is no longer here. We are already close, so hopefully it will be more relaxed," added Chand Kelvin.

1. Many Inputs from Friends

In addition, Chand Kelvin admitted that he received many inputs from his friends who were already married. Everything that he considered good was kept as provisions.

"Certainly, those who have known me for a long time also give advice. 'Chand, when you get married, do this and that'. Yes, as long as it's positive, we take it as input," he said.

2. Praying for a Smooth Journey

Now, Chand Kelvin hopes and prays that his future marriage will go smoothly. Moreover, his intention to marry his beloved is an act of worship.

"Of course, I'm nervous, but we interpret it with a lot of prayers to Allah. Our goal is to worship for a lifetime, so we need to pray a lot. We also listen to inputs from positive people, such as clerics and others," said Chand.

3. Held in July

It is planned that the wedding will be held on July 7, 2024. Unfortunately, Chand Kelvin is not yet willing to reveal the concept of his marriage with Dea.

"Insya Allah, it will be close, so that all friends can come, in Jakarta. Basically, it will be a surprise. So, the main point is that I am Javanese, and Dea is Acehnese. So, the combination of these two traditional ethnicities will collaborate," Chand Kelvin concluded.
