Not Yet Divorced, Indra Adhitya Officially Reports Chikita Meidy to the Police for Alleged Domestic Violence

The household case between Chikita Meidy and Indra Adhitya has now entered the legal phase. On Saturday (28/6/2025), Indra, along with his attorney, Raidin Anom, officially reported his wife to the Tangerang City Police, Tigaraksa, on charges of domestic violence (KDRT).

"We came to the Tangerang City Police today to file a report. Of course, this is what I meant earlier, as per the guidance of Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code, regarding how the report should be made, how two sufficient pieces of evidence have been fulfilled, and Alhamdulillah, the report has been accepted," said Raidin.

Indra stated that this report is a continuation of the legal notice that was sent earlier. According to him, because there was no good faith for mediation, legal channels were pursued.

"Because we have previously sent a legal notice, it seems there is no good faith to come for mediation, so we are following the procedure," Indra revealed.

In his statement, Indra revealed that he experienced physical violence, one of which was being hit with a skincare bottle that made his head feel dizzy. The incident occurred in early 2025."Yes, that's right, I was once hit with a skincare bottle and it hit my head," said Indra.

Although he has reported his wife, Indra emphasized that until now he has never officially pronounced divorce to Chikita Meidy. However, he also admitted that he does not know whether a divorce is likely to happen in the future."Until now, I have never declared divorce," he said.

Indra's legal counsel added that this legal action is also a form of self-defense against defamation occurring on social media, which may be followed by additional reports related to the ITE Law."If they do not want to show good intentions and apologize, well this is a legal country, so let it proceed," asserted Raidin.

In the midst of this conflict, Indra admitted to having difficulty communicating with Chikita and their child. He expressed a deep longing and regretted the situation that caused him to lose access to meet his child."Of course I miss them a lot, where is there a father who doesn't miss his child," said Indra.

Although caught in a legal and domestic conflict that has yet to find clarity, Indra still hopes for the best resolution for all parties, especially for the sake of their child's interests.
