Since April 2024, Cindy Fatikasari & Tengku Firmansyah have moved to Canada. This celebrity couple decided to settle there to accompany their two sons who are studying. Cindy & Tengku reside in a house in the Edmonton area of Alberta, near Vancouver.

They claim that moving to Canada is not to escape. For the sake of their children, Cindy & Tengku are willing to 'downgrade' in a foreign land. But ironically, they actually receive better treatment than in their homeland.Â
"We moved to Canada not just to #escape. We are simply striving for a better future for our two sons," wrote Cindy & Tengku in the caption of their post.
"Even though here we are referred to as 'second-class citizens', we, as parents of a special needs child, receive better attention and treatment in a foreign land compared to our own homeland," they continued.
Although they have been in a foreign land for over a year, their hearts and minds are still always directed towards Indonesia. Moreover, in this country with a population of over two hundred million, they have relatives.
"Physically, we are indeed far from Indonesia, but our hearts and minds are always focused there. Our daughter, son-in-law, mothers, siblings, and extended family are all still there," they continued.
They feel sad about the bad news that has hit the homeland recently. "It feels heartbreaking every day to see the news about the homeland, and we extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the recent events," they added.
The couple, who have three children, want all responsible parties to perform their duties well, to listen to the aspirations of the people, so that there are no more victims falling.
Lastly, they prayed and hoped for the best for Indonesia. "May Allah provide assistance to us all. Stay safe everyone and get well soon my Indonesia," they concluded.Â
