Kapanlagi.com - Artist Nurul Arifin, Mayong Suryo Laksono, her husband, along with Melkior Mirari Manusaktri, their child, decided to bury the favorite belongings of the late Maura Magnalia Madyaratri together.

"Yes, I brought her favorite belongings, we put them in, she used to drink up to 6 liters a day so we put them in, and Marlboro is her cigarette, those boots are her favorite, she wore them wherever she went, and there's also a book, she liked to read," said Nurul Arifin after the funeral at San Diego Hills Memorial Park, Karawang, West Java, on Wednesday (26/1).

As a mother, losing her daughter suddenly is not an easy thing to face. Especially with her busy schedule as a politician, it made it difficult for her to spend time with her late daughter.

Therefore, Nurul Arifin admits that she will be a better mother in the future. She will spend more time with Melkior.

"I have to spend more quality time with my family. So, it's a lesson, it's never too late for me to start again if I may have not spent enough time with my family. On the other hand, I love my job very much and apparently family is important," she concluded.

2. Heart Attack

Before passing away due to a heart attack, Maura Magnalia had apparently finished writing a piece. The plan was to publish Nurul Arifin's child's work into a book.

Unfortunately, until the end of her life, the piece had not been published into a book. Even though that was what the 27-year-old girl wanted.

"Yes, she was in the process of finding a publisher, and some publishers were interested, but it hasn't been realized yet for some reason, I don't know," said Mayong Suryolaksono, her father in San Diego Hills, Karawang, West Java, on Wednesday (26/1).

However, Mayong, who has seen and read the contents of Maura's writing, does not deny that her child's writing has controversial elements.

"From what she told us, the book might be a bit controversial. Yes, Maura is anti-mainstream," Mayong said.

"Because she also finished her S2 program in culture studies, she learned about contemporary culture. Yes, maybe our previous generation never imagined that there would be a branch of study on contemporary culture," Mayong said.

Mayong also told the story of the chronology of Maura Magnalia Madyaratri's death. Mayong said that the princess's life could not be saved when she was taken to the hospital.

"She, because of her illness, had a heart attack," said Mayong.

"Then, earlier this morning we took her to the hospital at 5 am, and she was pronounced dead at 5:37 am. So, there was 37 minutes of time, but she couldn't be saved. So, she was already weak and cold," said Mayong (25/1/2022).
