Kapanlagi.com - So far, when watching the actions of Vincent Rompies he is a funny person who likes to entertain many people. Behind all that, Vincent can be said to be closed to the media. He never wants to be interviewed about his life story, because he feels there is nothing interesting.

Fortunately there is Soleh Solihun, who managed to persuade Vincent Rompies to do an interview with him. Through a video uploaded by Soleh on his Youtube channel, Vincent answered all the questions asked. Starting from the reason why he didn't want to be interviewed to his religion.

When Soleh asked if he ever got annoyed when someone was curious about his religion, Vincent answered no and felt it was normal. Not only that, Soleh also asked about Vincent's religious life.

1. Diligent Prayer

Okay, for those who don't know, Vincent's religion is Islam. He grew up in a family where his parents had different religions, his father was a Christian and his mother was a Muslim. Soleh once made a statement that Vincent is a Muslim who does not practice the teachings of Islam.

"Well, I'm not as diligent in praying. But I always pray. I pray six times a week. Because before shooting, we always pray first, and I really pray," said Vincent.

2. Last Prayer

Soleh then asked when was the last time Vincent prayed. The presenter of The Tonight Show thought for a moment.

"Wow, this question is crazy. It was in 2019," Vincent said after a long pause.

"Was it during Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr?" Soleh asked again.

"Yes. Oh no, no. After that, there was another time. Because my child asked me to pray," Vincent answered and then explained that his child is religiously devout.

3. Hoping the Child Becomes a Good Muslim

Vincent admits that until now his child has not asked why he never prays. He feels that his child may be hesitant to ask him about it.

"My children pray. From school. As for them, I hope they become good Muslims. I am not a good Muslim. I don't know if I am good or not. It is the One Above who determines. My children are Muslims because their parents are Muslims. I don't know what they will become in the future, but what is important is that I provide them with religious education that I believe in now, to the best of my ability. If suddenly, I don't know what will happen in the future, should I get angry? Their beliefs are their own," said Vincent.

4. Receiving Christmas Greetings

Because many people do not know about his religion, combined with his Western-sounding name, Vincent confirms that he often receives Christmas greetings. But he doesn't mind at all.

"It's okay for me to celebrate Christmas. My father celebrates Christmas. All my siblings are Christians. I celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Eid al-Fitr," he concluded.
