On the First Day of Release, Tickets for 'NKCTHI' Sold Out in Many Cities

Kapanlagi.com - The first day of the screening of the film NANTI KITA CERITA TENTANG HARI INI (NKCTHI) was warmly welcomed by film lovers in the country. Tickets for the film NKCTHI were sold out in many cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Lampung, Padang, Medan, Bali, Makassar, Palu, Ternate, and Jayapura.

Prospective viewers who didn't get tickets shared their struggle to watch the story of Awan, Aurora, and Angkasa on the social media accounts of the film NKCTHI. Until Thursday (1/2) afternoon, Cinema 21 and CGV even added screens in the afternoon and evening. Cinema 21 added screens in 6 cities, while CGV added screens in 15 cities.

Starting today, Friday (1/3), the film NKCTHI can even be enjoyed from 08.00 in the morning. For deaf friends, the film NKCTHI can also be enjoyed in several cinemas that provide sign language texts (in Indonesian) starting from January 4, 2020.

NKCTHI tells the story of a family with a secret. Angkasa (Rio Dewanto), Aurora (Sheila Dara), and Awan (Rachel Amanda) are siblings who live in a seemingly happy family. After experiencing their first major failure, Awan meets Kale, an eccentric guy who gives Awan a new life experience, about breaking, waking up, falling, growing, losing, and all the fears that humans generally have.

Awan's change in attitude is met with pressure from their parents. This pushes the three siblings to rebel, leading to the revelation of a big secret and trauma within their family.

NKCTHI, which premiered on January 2, 2020, is the latest work from director Angga Dwimas Sasongko, which also marks 15 years of his career in the directing world. This film is produced under the umbrella of Visinema Pictures in collaboration with IDN Media, Blibli.com, and XRM Media.

NKCTHI itself is adapted from a book by Marchella FP, which originally contains short messages. The book contains a collection of writings that reflect the simple, yet unique and captivating personal experiences of someone. The messages in the book are crafted into a complete story about the story of a family that holds a secret.
