Medina Kamil was born on April 6, 1982 in Jakarta. Her name started to be known by the public when she replaced Riyanni Djangkaru as the presenter of Jejak Petualang.
In 2006, Medina experienced a tragic incident. She and several crew members of Jejak Petualang went missing for 5 days in Papua. Their ship was hit by waves in the Arafura Sea and was eventually found 5 days later on an empty island.
However, this did not deter Medina Kamil. Her strong spirit did not traumatize her from exploring nature in Indonesia again.
Years passed after leaving Jejak Petualang, Medina Kamil tried her luck in the acting world. Her debut was in the movie KENTUT in 2011. She then appeared in many other film titles.
On March 29, 2015, Medina Kamil finally ended her single life. She married her beloved, Deska Anugrah, and they were blessed with two beautiful and adorable daughters.
Retreating from the entertainment world, Medina Kamil is now busy being a wife and mother to her two children. However, she doesn't just stay at home, you know.
Even though she is already a mother to two beautiful children, Medina Kamil still frequently explores nature. In fact, she has also climbed mountains in Indonesia several times, even though she is already 41 years old.
