Siti Badriah was initially rejected to perform in Rokan Hulu Regency: This is the first time

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Siti Badriah was initially rejected by a number of people when she was scheduled to perform at the 24th Anniversary of Rokan Hulu Regency on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The community, under the name of the Seribu Suluk People's Care Movement (GMP-NSS), rejected the presence of Siti Badriah on the grounds that her appearance did not conform to the customs and traditions of Malay Culture in Rohul.

However, in the end, Siti Badriah still entertained the people in the event. In fact, many people from Rokan Hulu welcomed her enthusiastically.

"Alhamdulillah, I have fulfilled my responsibility there to sing. It turns out that when I sang there, everyone loved me, everyone came, everything was fun and exciting," said Siti Badriah when met at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (19/10/2023).

According to Siti Badriah, she was once banned and rejected from performing, which was a first experience for her.

"Alhamdulillah, this is the first time (being banned and rejected from performing), but it's a challenge for everyone because everyone is different, some find it difficult and some don't. We can't expect everyone to like us," she said.

2. Follow the Applicable Rules

During the event, Sibad, her nickname, had to follow the rules there, such as singing without excessive dancing and not wearing revealing clothes.

"As a singer, I have to follow the rules of the city, like not wearing revealing clothes or not dancing," she said.
