Kapanlagi.com - Pak Tarno is currently undergoing a heavy struggle against stroke. This entertainment magician has survived three strokes. Although he now has to cope with the effects of these attacks, his determination to recover is commendable.
"In this third stroke, Pak Tarno's left side of the body is somewhat impaired," said Pak Tarno's personal manager, Slamet Tattoo, when met in the Warakas area of Jakarta on Tuesday (24/12).
Various efforts are being made by Pak Tarno to recover his condition. One of the first steps taken is through official medical channels. In undergoing this medical treatment, Pak Tarno always receives full support from one of his wives, Lisa, who faithfully accompanies him.
Mr. Tarno sells to make ends meet.
"Accompanied by his other wife, Mrs. Lisa, Mr. Tarno was taken to the hospital in Koja, and his BPJS was arranged," explained Slamet. During this opportunity, he shared a lot about how the family worked together to help Mr. Tarno get the best care.
However, medical treatment alone was not deemed sufficient by Mr. Tarno and his family. He also tried alternative methods to speed up his recovery process. One of the alternative treatments he opted for was participating in therapy with Mr. Haji Jari Petir.
"There is therapy from the hospital, and there are medications as well. He has also visited Mr. Haji Jari Petir, Telapak Jari Petir," Slamet explained.
This therapy, according to Slamet, could make Mr. Tarno sleep soundly. "Alhamdulillah, after being treated by him, he sleeps well. Usually, Mr. Tarno has trouble sleeping, which is why he often dozes off while selling," he added.
In addition to medical and alternative support, Mr. Tarno's family provides great moral encouragement. They continuously motivate Mr. Tarno not to rely entirely on a wheelchair.
"Indeed, we encourage him to practice walking. Rather than using a wheelchair all the time, he might end up in a wheelchair forever," said Slamet.
That hard work is now starting to pay off. Mr. Tarno, who previously even had difficulty standing, can now walk with the help of a cane. Not only that, he is also training again to perform magic tricks, showing his spirit to return to creating.
"Now it's getting better, I can stand, I can walk by myself. At first, I couldn't do anything," Slamet said with gratitude.
