Peaceful Road Blocked, Bigmo and Resbob Hope for a Second Mediation with Azizah Salsha

As is known, Azizah Salsha reported Bigmo and Resbob for alleged defamation of infidelity on August 12, 2025. This mediation agenda is part of the legal process that must be carried out in accordance with restorative justice rules.

"We just finished the mediation agenda. From our respective clients, apologies have been conveyed to the reporter. However, as we heard from the reporter's legal counsel, the apology has not yet been formally presented," said Ditho Sitompul, legal counsel for Bigmo, when met at Bareskrim Mabes Polri, South Jakarta, Friday (19/10/2025).

The legal representatives of Bigmo and Resbob remain hopeful that this issue can be resolved amicably. They hope that the investigation process can ultimately be halted through the restorative justice mechanism.

"We just hope here that this mediation process can continue so that eventually the entire investigation process can be halted and restorative justice can occur," he added.

In line with that, Resbob's legal counsel, Nurwidiatmo, also emphasized that although today's meeting has not yielded results, it is not the end of everything. They still see an opportunity for a second mediation.

"Today's meeting can be said to be neither canceled nor fully conducted, but there is still an opportunity that will be pursued again," said Nurwidiatmo.

Now, the fate of the continuation of this case depends on further communication between both parties. Bigmo and Resbob hope that the door to forgiveness from Azizah Salsha and her extended family can soon be opened. "It is expected that there will be a second mediation later," he concluded.
