Jonathan Frizzy Admits Regret in Court, Claims His Life is Ruined

Kapanlagi.com - The continued trial of the alleged vape abuse case containing the substance etomidate with defendant Jonathan Frizzy was held again at the Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (17/9/2025). In this session, the actor commonly known as Ijonk was grilled with various questions by the judge and legal counsel regarding the chronology and origins of the vape obtained from his associate, Evan.

Jonathan explained that from the beginning he had asked Evan several times about the contents of the vape cartridge. He also emphasized that he had conducted several self urine tests with negative results.

"When talking to Evan, I tried to ask him again several times, and his answer always said it was not dangerous. Then, before and when I arrived in Indonesia, I had done several urine drug tests. The results were negative," he revealed in front of the panel of judges.

When asked about the contents of the vape device, Ijonk explained, "As for the cartridge, from our conversation with Evan, I checked it in the lab and it is safe."

He also answered that he was never informed about the contents of the vape by Evan. "Oh, I never knew, I was never told what the contents were. I only found out that the contents were etomidate from the police. From the BAP," he explained.

"Yeah, I immediately thought that this was really nothing, it's like regular pods. Because I also have a pre-existing condition, so I am really scared of getting involved with drugs like that," added Jonathan Frizzy.

Nevertheless, the laboratory results from the investigator indicate that the vape contained etomidate. Upon hearing this, Jonathan could not contain his regret.

"It's not just regret. You could say my life is ruined. I already regret it, I am disappointed, I am angry about all the mistakes I have made, and beyond my control as well," he expressed.

"It feels like in here, I only live with gratitude, because beyond my own capabilities and now I have to be separated, far from my children. I have six children. I said I am ruined, and I hope this can be an example for the people in Indonesia, that my case serves as a lesson for everyone," said Ijonk with a trembling voice.

On that occasion, Jonathan also explained his health condition, having undergone hemorrhoid surgery and a family history of cancer from his mother. He admitted to being very careful about his diet and lifestyle, becoming increasingly fearful of getting involved with drugs.

"I have a congenital disease, that's why I really take care. Just eating the wrong thing can trigger bleeding again," he said.
