This is Ahmad Dhani's appearance during the verdict hearing. He looks neat in a suit and tie and wears a head covering. He also appears calm.
In this verdict hearing, Dhani is declared guilty of hate speech based on a tweet he previously made, which was deemed to contain racial and religious slurs. Although Dhani and his legal team feel that the panel of judges did not provide an explanation regarding this mistake.
Dhani was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in this case. But because he feels unsatisfied, he and his legal team are ready to appeal in order to seek justice.
Once declared guilty, the question arises, will Dhani be immediately imprisoned after the trial? The answer is yes. The father of five children immediately boarded the detention vehicle.
Dhani is also said to be taken to LP Cipinang to serve his sentence. But of course, there is a possibility of him being released if his appeal is accepted by the panel of judges.
Despite receiving a sentence, Dhani appears to be very calm. Although he admits to being unsatisfied with the judge's decision, he promises to follow the applicable legal procedures.
