Picking up Ridho Rhoma Free from Prison, Rhoma Irama Cries Unable to Hold Back Emotions

Kapanlagi.com - Ridho Rhoma has officially been released from prison on Wednesday morning (8/1/2020). As is known, he has been in detention for eight months since July 2019 for possession of illegal drugs.

Ridho's freedom made Rhoma Irama extremely happy. He also accompanied his son at Rutan Salemba, Central Jakarta. During the interview session, the King of Dangdut couldn't hold back his tears.

"(Ridho's release) makes me happy. I'm not like Ridho, Ridho can hold back his tears. Alhamdulillah... I hope this becomes a lesson for Ridho, meaning that in the future he can face extraordinary challenges. Especially in the entertainment world, there are many challenges, even though there are also challenges in other professions," said Rhoma, who received a warm embrace from Ridho.

Rhoma Irama hopes that Ridho Rhoma learns a lot from the case that has befallen him, until he has to be behind bars. He is confident that his child will not dare to fall into the same hole.

"During his detention, Ridho saw that the consequences of a wrong step are very significant for his future life in this world and the hereafter. I think Ridho has also been able to take and learn from the lessons. Of course, I also have a message for other friends, that drugs are indeed an extraordinary crime that can destroy individuals, families, and even this nation," said Rhoma firmly.

Ridho Rhoma was supposed to be released on March 9, 2020. However, he received a conditional release reward for good behavior during his detention.

"Yes, indeed, this is a very happy moment for me, for my family. For myself, it was quite difficult to go through. Twice, I entered here and Alhamdulillah, twice I was given guidance, lessons that I couldn't get from the outside. So, thank you very much to Rutan Salemba for providing a valuable lesson that I can't buy," added Ridho.
