Kapanlagi.com - Cinta Laura took on an unusual role in the film JAGAT ARWAH directed by Ruben Adrian. This actress and singer accepted the character as the Dutch Ghost.
Although playing a ghost dressed in colonial era clothing, this character made Cinta quite nervous. Because she had to speak in Dutch.
"Even though I am very familiar with Dutch, I am of German descent. So when delving into the character, I was quite nervous. I thought to myself, I don't want anyone who watches this film and is fluent in Dutch to say 'Why is the language like that?'. Because, although there are some similarities with the German language, Dutch pronunciation is different. That's why I consulted with my friend to learn pronunciation," said Cinta as quoted by KapanLagi.com during Visinema Week, last week.

Not only in terms of language, Noni Belanda's character is also challenging for Cinta Laura because of the many body gestures used. Cinta doesn't want the message intended by her character to fail to reach the audience.
"Noni Belanda's character is also unique because she's not the type to talk a lot. But every body language, every glance of the eye has meaning. This is a challenge for me to make sure that every action, even hand movements, have meaning," explained the woman born 27 years ago.
JAGAT ARWAH is the first horror fantasy production by Visinema Pictures after twelve years in the film industry. It tells the story of Raga, a young man who must guard the world of spirits and humans.
In addition to Cinta Laura, this film also stars Ari Irham, Sheila Dara Aisha, Oka Antara, and Ganindra Bimo. So far, it has not been revealed when the film will be released in theaters.
