'KUYANG THE MOVIE' Presents Terrifying Terror from the Bodiless Female Ghost in Cinemas

The horror genre, which always invites great enthusiasm, is also making a comeback, as seen in the latest film titled KUYANG THE MOVIE.

This film is produced through a collaboration between 786 Production and Max Anderson and is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2021. Some famous artists involved in KUYANG THE MOVIE include Zora Vidyanata, Anne J Cott, Arie Dwi Andika, and many others.

Not only focusing on jump scares, KUYANG THE MOVIE also presents a strong story and drama. One of them is the romance between Arie and Zora, who have just moved to the interior of Kalimantan to start a new life, but end up being haunted by Kuyang.

For those who are not familiar, Kuyang is a female ghost in the form of a human head with a body without skin and limbs that can fly. This ghost is usually depicted as seeking the blood of babies or women who have given birth.

During the shooting process, it seems that the production team faced many challenges, ranging from unfavorable weather to other disturbances. For example, Zora experienced a mystical event where she couldn't get out of bed for a while, as if something was blocking her.
