Kapanlagi.com - The success achieved by the film MAKMUM has inspired the production house Dee Company to create its continuation. Still entrusting Titi Kamal as the main star, MAKMUM 2 has started the filming process in early October. Dheeraj Kalwani, as the producer, said that in the film MAKMUM 2 there will be several new characters, including Marcella Zalianty and Samuel Rizal.
"The only cast member who remains from MAKMUM is Titi Kamal. Nevertheless, the story remains connected. Marcella and Samuel will strengthen Titi's position as the main actor. The essence of the story remains about how devout someone is when praying," said Dheeraj Kalwani.
The presence of Marcella Zalianty and Samuel Rizal is welcomed by Titi Kamal. They have known each other for a long time, which will facilitate the chemistry bond on the shooting location.
"Marcella and Samuel have known each other since '99. It's exciting to be able to play together," said Titi Kamal.
The same goes for Marcella. She admitted that she is happy to join the production of the film MAKMUM 2. Seeing the development of a good story, she believes that MAKMUM 2 can achieve success once again.
"Alhamdulillah, I can shoot MAKMUM 2. It gives encouragement to filmmakers to keep creating regardless of the circumstances. We all feel comfortable shooting because the health protocols are very strict. It's even more motivating because the first film was successful. Hoping that MAKMUM 2 can also be successful," she said.
