Two Weeks of Shooting Horror 'DJOERIG SALAWE' in Pangalengan, Ben Kasyafani Longs to Meet Sienna

Kapanlagi.com - Ben Kasyafani's latest acting can be seen in the upcoming horror comedy film titled DJOERIG SALAWE which will be released in March. This big screen movie is set in Cicalengka in the 1970s and is based on a true story where a man plays the lottery to become rich.

For the shooting purposes, Ben had to leave his wife and child for approximately two weeks. During that time, he had to endure the longing for his beloved daughter, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani.

"Coincidentally, the director wanted to find a location that had never been used for shooting. So we ended up shooting in Pangalengan for two weeks. During that time, I was separated from my child. I wasn't worried because Inez was there, but I just missed her. But because I love my job, I was entertained during the location shooting," said Ben during the release of the poster and teaser trailer of DJOERIG SALAWE at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/2/2020).

1. How to Cure Longing

After finishing shooting and returning to Jakarta, Ben Kasyafani performed a ritual that he and Sienna usually do. The simple yet effective ritual is swimming. How come?

"To cure longing, swimming with my child. Because when we swim, we don't bring gadgets, so we won't be disturbed by others. You have to be with your child. You have to take care of them, watch them swim, focus your attention on them. Because with other activities, you can do them while working, but with this one, you really have to put your phone aside and give full attention to your child," explained the 36-year-old man.

2. Likes to be Missed

Back when Sienna was still young, Ben Kasyafani admitted it was difficult for him to leave his child for work. But now, as she grows up, his beautiful daughter is easily understanding.

"It used to be hard when I had to leave for work. But now she understands. I just like it when she misses me. For example, if I come home late from work, I immediately accompany her to sleep, read her a story," he added.
