Kapanlagi.com - The story of KKN DI DESA PENARI which went viral on social media some time ago certainly attracted a lot of attention from netizens. After booming on social media, a book was published based on the story and eventually MD Pictures decided to adapt the story into a feature film.
When met at MD Pictures, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Thursday (21/2), Manoj Punjabi as the producer mentioned that the filming process alone took more than a month. Moreover, the shooting locations were not limited to just one place.
"For the shooting days alone, it's more than a month, and for the production days it's almost two months, that's just the production, not including other things like promotion. We really went all out for this film, the shooting process is not long but intense," said Manoj Punjabi.
"As for the locations, we didn't shoot in just one place, one of them was in the Gunung Kidul area. Even though moving locations for shooting was a challenge, I wanted to make the scenes feel real. It's going to be like watching old movies, so the adventure has to be captured," he continued.
Not only that, Manoj Punjabi mentioned that the movie KKN DI DESA PENARI can be said as a hype Budget movie. Because from the beginning of production to the launching of Teaser and Trailer, this movie has spent costs up to Rp 20 billion.
"This movie can be said as a hype budget movie, this is not yet counted with promotion costs. From the beginning of production until today, it has cost approximately Rp 20 billion," he said.

In addition, before it is simultaneously released in all cinemas in the country on March 19, 2020, Manoj Punjabi stated that there will be something new in the second trailer of this movie. But unfortunately, the producer is still unwilling to reveal the new thing.
"This is the first teaser, there will be a second trailer and there will also be something interesting that I still keep and has never been done in previous films. Just wait, if it's revealed, people might not want to watch the movie," he said.
