Apparently, Asmara Abigail has her own story when filming with senior actor, Sujiwo Tejo. The 27-year-old actress admitted that filming with Sujiwo Tejo was very enjoyable. Moreover, the actor who is also known as a cultural figure always entertains when on set.

1. Feeling Scared

Before shooting with Sujiwo Tejo, Asmara Abigail felt scared because her co-star in the movie MANGKUJOWO. However, that fear melted away when she met the cultural figure who is nicknamed the President of Jancukers.

"I have the most scenes with Sujiwo Tejo and from the beginning of shooting, I was really nervous. But off camera, it turns out he is funny and humorous, and when on camera, we have good chemistry and there is a powerful scene between Kanti and Sujiwo Tejo himself," said Asmara Abigail at Capital Place, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/1/2020).

"The shooting atmosphere is very enjoyable and the character matches the emotional points needed. That's from my perspective," continued Asmara.

2. Shooting in Old Buildings

The movie MANGKUJIWO was shot in Yogyakarta and Solo. During the 28 days of shooting there, Asmara Abigail said she didn't experience any strange or mystical incidents. Even though the shooting locations were in old buildings.

"The shooting took 28 days, but there were no mystical incidents that happened while I was shooting," she said.

Kirana Suwandi, who was also involved in the movie MANGKUJIWO, said that shooting in old buildings was quite challenging.

"We shot in Yogya, and also in Solo, it's the border. Well, it's quite challenging, the locations are quite challenging, and it's from that era, so it means we automatically go to places that represent that era. Not just on the set, but the locations are from the old times. It's a challenge for everyone, including the crew. with a tense location," Kirana concluded.
