The filming process of ASIH 2 is still ongoing. This film, adapted from the novel by Risa Saraswati, is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 24th. Interestingly, ASIH 2 will be the first MD Pictures film to be screened in theaters during the pandemic.
Starring Marsha Timothy, Ario Bayu, and Shareefa Daanish, here are a series of behind-the-scenes photos of the making of ASIH 2 that will definitely give you chills.
In this film, ASIH 2, Ario Bayu will play the role of Razan.
Razan (Ario Bayu) is the husband of Sylvia, played by Marsha Timothy.
Marsha Timothy portrays the character of Sylvia. In this movie, ASIH 2, Sylvia works as a doctor.
While working at the hospital, Sylvia then meets Ana, played by Anantya Rezky. And later on, Ana is adopted by Sylvia and Razan. However, it's not just Ana who is brought in, but also the figure of the female ghost who has been taking care of Ana all this time.
Ana herself is a victim of an accident. Ana, who at that time entered the forest and unexpectedly got hit by a car, was then taken to the hospital, where she met Sylvia.
In addition to Marsha Timothy and Ario Bayu, another new cast member is Ruth Marini who will play as Emak (mother). Looking from here, she is really mysterious, KLovers.
Emak, portrayed by Ruth Marini, is tasked with taking care of the house and Ana.
Since taking care of Ana, Sylvia has been experiencing mystical incidents in her house.
And Asih herself will still be played by Shareefa Daanish. With this classic style, it can already make you scared.
Well, for those who don't know, Asih herself is a woman who committed suicide because she experienced many unfortunate incidents in her life.
Not accepted by her family and the surrounding community, until the man who impregnated her left, Asih went crazy, eventually leading her to cruelly kill her own child. Asih then carried the burden and sadness until the end of her life, becoming a wandering female ghost.
