Hiii... Risa Saraswati Already Knew 'ASIH 2' Would Release in Theaters When Her House Was Visited by the Spirit of Asih

Kapanlagi.com - MD Pictures made a breakthrough for the film industry. The production house led by Manoj Punjabi became the first party to dare announce their readiness to release a new film in theaters.

As we know, since April the government has urged entertainment businesses, including theaters, to temporarily close in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The theaters have been closed for almost seven months until mid-October, when they were allowed to reopen with health protocols and 25% audience capacity.

1. The Figure of Asih Arrives

The film released by MD Pictures is a horror drama titled ASIH 2 starring Marsha Timothy, Ario Bayu, and Shareefa Daanish. Interestingly, Manoj Punjabi initially kept it a secret from Risa Saraswati, the author of the novel, that this film would be released in theaters.

However, who would have thought that Risa, who has indigo abilities, already knew about it long before receiving the happy news from Manoj. Because some time ago, the figure of Asih had visited her house.

"Actually, I didn't know about this event (trailer and poster release) because I was only contacted a few days ago. But I had signs that it would be released when last week she (Asih) came to my house. More precisely, she sat in the back seat of the car. And it wasn't me who saw it, but someone else," said Risa during a press conference at Epicentrum XXI, Thursday afternoon (11/19/2020).

2. Anak Sampai Sakit

Because Asih came to her house, Risa Saraswati's child suddenly got sick. Until a few days later, a phone call came from MD Pictures asking Risa to come to Jakarta.

"Not long after, my child started getting sick, and my other sibling said, 'What is Asih coming to do again?'. Not long after, Mr. Karan (Mahtani) called: 'Risa, come to Jakarta for the trailer release'," said the writer, who is now active as a content creator.
