Police Investigate the Case of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School Leader for 10 Hours, Lucky Hakim Presents New Evidence

Kapanlagi.com - After undergoing an examination for approximately 10 hours, Lucky Hakim finally left the Sub-Directorate (Subdit) I Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri building. The father of one child was questioned by investigators as a witness in the case of alleged religious defamation committed by the leader of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang.

"I was asked questions that I have already answered truthfully to the investigators, and thankfully it went smoothly. I have full confidence that the national police headquarters will handle this case in the best possible way, fairly and justly," he said on Friday (14/7/2023).

1. Submit Additional Evidence

Lucky admitted to being asked more than 10 questions and answered them all according to the facts that occurred. In fact, he also included additional evidence that he handed over to the investigator.

"Is this (meeting request letter), is this new evidence or not? I was asked about the initial introduction, so I answered that it was the first time we met," said Lucky.

"But why did we meet? Because I submitted a letter at that time to visit Pondok Pesantren Al Zaytun, this letter can be seen," added Lucky Hakim.

2. Not Like the Principle of Customary Practices

During the examination, Lucky was also shown videos of himself at Pondok Pesantren Al Zaytun or activities there that had caused a sensation. He explained everything according to the facts and did not add anything.

"There are several videos that I watched, then I was asked for my opinion, to my knowledge, my capacity, and I cannot make a judgment of right or wrong, but that is one thing that is different, not like the principle of customary practices that I know, related to the statement," he concluded.
