Police Will Summon BCL's Husband in Alleged Embezzlement Case

Kapanlagi.com - Bunga Citra Lestari's (BCL) husband, Tiko Aryawardhana, will be summoned by the police regarding the alleged embezzlement case involving Rp 6.9 billion. This case is still ongoing and many are waiting for the final result.

The police have scheduled an examination of Tiko Aryawardhana as a witness in the alleged embezzlement case during his tenure as a director in a food-related company. The first examination will be conducted on July 11, 2024.

"The suspect, Mr. TPA, has been sent a summons as a witness to be requested by the investigator to attend and provide a statement on July 11, which means Thursday," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi, as quoted by KapanLagi.com via Antaranews.

1. Examination of Several Witnesses

The investigator has conducted several examinations of witnesses, including the banking party, to delve into the flow of funds and transactions suspected of embezzlement.

The investigator wants to obtain clarification from Tiko Aryawardhana regarding the report made by his ex-wife, Arina Winarto, which indicates the occurrence of embezzlement of money in the company.

2. Want to Obtain Clarification from Tiko

The investigators want to obtain further clarification about the flow of funds and transactions suspected of embezzlement.

"After several witnesses were examined, including the complainant and the banking party to determine the flow of funds and transactions, because from the report made, it is suspected that there is embezzlement of money," said Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi.

3. Investigators Prepare Report

After the investigation process is completed, the investigator will prepare a report that will be used as the basis for prosecuting Tiko Aryawardhana in court. This prosecution will be based on the evidence obtained during the investigation.

If Tiko Aryawardhana is prosecuted, he will face a trial where he will be judged based on the evidence collected by the investigator. This trial will determine whether Tiko Aryawardhana is guilty and whether he will be sentenced.

4. Support for BCL

BCL through her legal representative, Irfan Aghasar, stated that BCL continues to support Tiko and is optimistic that this issue can find a solution.
