Portrait of Erika Carlina Claiming to be 9 Months Pregnant Out of Wedlock, Refuses Abortion - Receives Threats

It is known that she is not married, Erika Carlina is currently nine months pregnant. She revealed this shocking fact to Deddy Corbuzier through a podcast on YouTube on Friday, (18/7).

"Erika. Haha, no, I just want to say, first of all, congratulations. So you are nine months pregnant? And not many people know about this yet?" Deddy said. "Only family and friends know," Erika replied.

The star of the film KKN di DESA PENARI revealed her reasons for being honest with the public about her out-of-wedlock pregnancy. "This is my mistake, uncle. I just want to be honest. And... I also didn't think about whether or not I would be accepted by netizens, I just want to acknowledge my mistake and want to be honest like that," Erika continued.

Erika revealed that she canceled her wedding plans even though she was already pregnant. "(Her father) is there. But what can I say? At first, we wanted to be responsible together. Because I think, I was too focused on my career, really. I just wanted to appear normal. So when I was about to marry this man, I decided not to go through with it," Erika said.

Erika revealed that the man who got her pregnant already has another child, but she does not know the man's marital status. However, she accepted the man's child without any issues. She canceled the wedding because, according to the religion she follows, marriage can only happen once. "We both decided to get married. He proposed, he had already bought a ring. The ring was ready, I had already bought a dress too. But it ended because, with your behavior like this, we can't proceed to marriage," Erika said.

Erika revealed that she received threats from the man through his WhatsApp group with his fans. Deddy also read the group chat which contained derogatory comments about Erika. The actress disclosed that she does not actually seek accountability from the man for herself and their child. In fact, Erika has resolved to raise their child on her own.

Erika stated that she does not want to have an abortion despite canceling her wedding. "I've already sinned a lot, uncle. I don't want to kill (my child). It's hard, uncle, it's hard," said Erika. Erika revealed that she will give birth on August 8th. The fetus she is carrying is male, and Erika has already prepared a name for her child.
