"Yes, the feeling of fear that we could die at any time, yes, that fear exists. It turns out our body organs are weak, at any time we could pass away," he said as seen in the Insert Today broadcast, Tuesday (18/3/2025).

"Now I want to add more exercise. So far, my exercise has been swimming, now my exercise that makes me sweat is morning walks," he continued.

In addition to increasing physical activity, Hotman also reduces visits to night entertainment venues. In the past, he often went clubbing until the early hours, but now he chooses not to come home in the morning to avoid disrupting his work schedule.

"The most noticeable change is that I used to go clubbing 3 times a week, because I have shares there and for promotion as well, clubbing, dancing, going out at 10 PM, coming home at 3 AM, and starting work at 6 AM. That’s what caused the problems," he said.

Although he is changing some aspects of his lifestyle, Hotman emphasizes that he will not limit his work. He feels that working is part of himself and remains involved in major cases involving conglomerates and entrepreneurs.

"That's just how I am, I work every day. Sometimes I work on weekends. Lawyers have their own characteristics, they can't just be handled by someone else. My case is big, it's a big business, involving conglomerates and entrepreneurs, and it requires effort," said this famous lawyer.

Hotman realizes that the liver disease he is experiencing is a result of his busy work schedule.   "At first, I thought I was bitten by bling-bling, I had already been vaccinated for rabies once, then I was supposed to get the second shot but I didn't, it turns out my liver is affected. I've been too tired working from 4 AM until night, not to mention shooting for TV," he concluded.
