Fiersa Besari fulfilled his promise to shave his head if he successfully reached the summit of Carstenz Pyramid. This vow was previously expressed by Fiersa on his YouTube page during the series of expeditions to the Roof of the Country.
Interestingly, Fiersa completely shaved his hair without his child's knowledge, Kinasih. Even though he knew that Kinasih admitted to being afraid of people with bald heads.
Fiersa Besari finally succeeded in climbing Puncak Jaya or Carstensz Pyramid in Papua. He departed at the end of February and successfully reached the summit.
Together with the birthday gift shoes from his wife and child, Fiersa climbed Cartstensz Pyramid with his team. The journey was very tense due to bad weather and 2 people who set off almost at the same time as Fiersa passed away.
Even though the team that passed away in Carstensz was different from his group, Fiersa felt very mournful. He is grateful to be able to return home safely.
Upon returning from Puncak Jaya, Fiersa fulfilled his vow. He shaved his head completely and surprised his daughter, Kinasih, when she saw him.
"Did Dad cut his hair?" asked Kinasih. "Yes, I cut it first because Dad promised. It'll grow back, okay? Don't hate me? Forgive Dad for not telling you first," said Fiersa.
Even though Kinasih is afraid of bald people, she still gives compliments to her father. This Carstensz expedition is the conclusion of the series of expeditions to the Roof of the Nation undertaken by Fiersa Besari.
