The legal case involving former personal assistant Hotman Paris, Iqlima Kim, has finally reached a verdict. After undergoing a series of trials, Iqlima was found guilty of defamation against the famous lawyer.

In the hearing held at the North Jakarta District Court on Thursday (21/8/2025), the panel of judges stated that the woman, whose full name is Putri Iqlima Aprilia, was proven to have committed a crime by spreading electronic information containing insults and defamation.
As a result of the ruling, Iqlima was sentenced to 6 months in prison with a probation period of 1 year. This means she does not have to serve her prison sentence unless she commits another crime during the probation period.
Not only that, Iqlima was also fined Rp100 million or face 2 months in confinement if the fine is not paid.
The panel of judges considers Iqlima's actions to have damaged the reputation and dignity of others.
Nevertheless, there are several factors that mitigate her sentence, such as her polite demeanor during the trial, her acknowledgment of her mistakes, the remorse she has shown, and the fact that she still has family responsibilities.
As is known, Iqlima Kim previously admitted to experiencing harassment from Hotman Paris while still working as his assistant, and even hired lawyer Razman Arif Nasution to counter the accusations from the lawyer.
