Lulu Tobing is widely known for her role as Indah Sari in the legendary soap opera Tersanjung. Her acting career began after winning the 1992 Gadis Sampul competition, which led her into the world of modeling and then acting. In addition to Tersanjung, Lulu also starred in several popular soap operas such as Elegi Dua Cinta, Harga Diri, and Dia, earning her multiple nominations for Favorite Actress at the Panasonic Awards.

Since divorcing Danny Rukmana, the grandson of former President Soeharto, Lulu has chosen to live in Bali and embrace a slow living lifestyle. Lulu filed for divorce from Bani in 2021, but the lawsuit was rejected by the Central Jakarta Religious Court due to domicile reasons. After two failed attempts, finally in April 2024, the Bekasi Religious Court granted Lulu's divorce petition.

Despite facing various challenges in her personal life, Lulu remains active in the entertainment world. She still accepts acting offers, including roles that require light action scenes, proving her dedication to the art of acting even though she is no longer young.

In addition, Lulu is also pursuing padel sports, a racket sport that is gaining popularity. She has even just participated in a padel tournament, demonstrating her enthusiasm for maintaining fitness and trying new things amidst her busy schedule as an actress.
