Since Mpok Alpa passed away on Friday (15/8/2025), Idung admitted that he feels more comfortable sleeping in the living room. The bedroom is still too heavy for him to enter because it is filled with memories of his late wife.

"So until now, I still haven't gone up to my bedroom in this house. I still sleep in the living room. I ask for clothes, ask for a sarong, ask for a cap, and the maid brings it to me," said Adji Darmaji.

Not only the bedroom, Idung also has not dared to occupy the new house that was actually Mpok Alpa's dream during her lifetime.

"Up until now, I haven't entered the room. I haven't gone to the house over there. Because my memory of it is, oh, it's very, you know, it makes me weak when I remember it, right? Because it really reminds me of Mpok," she said with a trembling voice when met at her home in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, Monday (18/8/2025).

"How do I look at that house? It feels like he is still there, like that," concluded Adji with a sense of emotion.
