Kapanlagi.com - A year after the passing of his mother, Syalfia Ankuniarti, it seems that the grief is still felt by comedian Praz Teguh. It is known that Syalfia Ankuniarti passed away on May 17, 2021, due to diabetes.

Of course, there are many memories that his mother left for her beloved son. When interviewed in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta recently, Praz recounted that he was very close to his mother.

1. No Secrets

There is nothing hidden, Praz even said that his late mother taught him how to have sexual intercourse to have children. Praz Teguh believes that his mother must have known the naughty behavior of her son, at one point Praz was caught hiding marijuana by his mother.

"There is no secret that is hidden, starting from how to have children, I asked her to teach me and she even explained how to have children like this because my wife didn't get pregnant for two months after marriage, that's one of the conversations with my late mother, but she knew her child was naughty, but when he came home he was still her child," said Praz Teguh.

"He was also a thug before, so his son knew his movements, when he was still a child, he was caught hiding (marijuana), his mother asked 'what is this?' I answered 'tea leaves', she said 'okay, I'll brew it', 'no, don't'," he continued.

2. Understanding Mother

In addition, Praz Teguh also revealed how his mother could always be a mother who understands the problems of her children. Trying to understand and follow the wishes of her children, but there are still rules that are agreed upon, that's how his mother is in the eyes of Praz Teguh.

"She usually tries to get close to us, she immediately forbids it but she comes in and gets close and asks her child. I even smoked cigarettes in the third grade of junior high school, she finally said 'smoke first at home, when you're satisfied, then go to school, don't smoke at school', that's it," he said.

3. Living with Diabetes

Praz Teguh recounted how his mother was before she passed away due to diabetes. He mentioned that her physical condition was deteriorating due to the disease.

"She had been sick since 2016, even though she was only 58 years old and should still be healthy. She had diabetes which caused her body to become thinner," said Praz Teguh.

"From a weight of over 90 kilos, she went down to 50 kilos," he continued.

4. Spoiling His Mother

As a child, Praz Teguh often spoiled his mother. With jokes between mother and son, Praz said it seemed to make his mother forget her illness even for a moment.

"Sometimes when she didn't feel well, I massaged her head and made jokes to make her feel better. When she laughed, she felt better," he said.

5. Still Traumatized

Because of these memories, Praz admitted that he still can't believe his mother is gone. Especially during Ramadan and Eid, it feels very different without her presence.

"There are many stories and old wounds that haven't healed, I'm still traumatized. When I went back to Padang yesterday, it was really tough. I used to fast and celebrate Eid with her, but now she's gone," he said.
