For Prilly, experiencing such an injury is already part of the risks of the hobby she pursues. That's why it doesn't make the owner of the full name Prilly Mahatei Latuconsina give up.

"No (give up), because I already have a rescue diver certificate," said Prilly when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (26/6/2024).

In addition to saving people, Prilly also has another reason for choosing to become a rescue diver. The eldest daughter of two siblings, from the couple Rizal Latuconsina, wants to equip herself to explore the waters of Eastern Indonesia.

"That's also for self-preservation, because I dive in the strong currents of East Indonesia," explained Prilly.   "So if I know a lot of theory and the practice is okay, I can save myself and my diving partner," Prilly continued.

Prilly is grateful that her ear condition has gradually improved. However, it seems that Prilly is still not allowed to engage in diving activities to avoid infection in the ear area.

"It's healed, but still in the healing process. The doctor advised against diving for now. Even though I should have had training for rescue, it was postponed because my ears are still problematic," she concluded.
