Shun Oguri, a Japanese actor, has been confirmed to star in the latest Netflix drama film titled ROMANTIC ANONYMOUS, which also features Han Hyo Joo and Jin Akanishi. This film is an adaptation of the French film LES EMOTIFS ANONYMES, and Shun Oguri will play the main character, Sosuke Fujiwara, according to information from Netflix.

Shun Oguri was born in Tokyo on December 26, 1982. He comes from a family of five, where he is the youngest child with one older brother and one older sister. His older brother, Ryo Oguri, is also an actor known in the entertainment world.

Shun Oguri's successful career in the Japanese film and television industry continues to attract attention with the new projects he undertakes, such as ROMANTIC ANONYMOUS. With his experience and talent, Shun continues to prove himself as one of the leading actors in Japan.

Shun Oguri started his acting career at the age of 11, through children's theater in 1994. His television debut occurred two years later in the drama NHK HACHIDAI SHOGUN YOSHIMURE.

In 1998, in the drama GTO: GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA, he became an idol. Then, he took a brief break from acting to focus on high school and baseball.

Shun returned in 2000 in the drama TBS SUMMER SNOW, which made him known as a talented actor.

In 2003, at the age of 20, Shun began to venture into film. His performance as Rui Hanazawa in the drama TBS BOYS OVER FLOWERS in 2005 was very well received, elevating his status as a star.

The popularity of the drama has linked Shun's image to that of a prince, although he has tried to explore different roles in subsequent films, such as in SAKURAN and SUKIYAKI WESTERN DJANGO.

Shun married Yu Yamada on March 14, 2012, after dating since 2008. He also began his career as a director with the film SURELY SOMEDAY.

In his latest film on Netflix, he plays Sosuke Fujiwara, a representative of the chocolate shop "La Sauveur" who suffers from germaphobia due to past trauma. Shun is excited about this project thanks to the meticulous storyline and solid team.
