"So sad, sad because we are all trying to make a living. We know that no one wants to hurt each other," said Ria Ricis at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, Friday (29/8/2025).
Regarding the establishment of seven suspects by the police, Ricis chose not to comment much. She believes the legal process is fully entrusted to the authorities.
"If that is the case, I am sure that those involved have made the best decision. We are also just ordinary humans who cannot judge. Honestly, I am afraid to assume anything, but I believe that the law in Indonesia can be as fair as possible," she said
When asked about the apology request from the Chief of Police and the Regional Police Chief that still disappoints the public, Ricis again refused to comment further. She only emphasized the importance of prayer and moral support for the victims' families.
"I have no comment, let other friends comment. What matters to me is that my online motorcycle taxi friends are given patience, strength, and may they find the best paradise," said Ricis.
As a tangible form of support, Ricis said she has prepared small assistance in the form of donations. However, for her, the most important thing remains prayer for the families left behind.
"We have prepared small assistance, just a little donation. Because the most important thing is prayer and help from all friends," she concluded.
