It is said that Diah Permatasari plays the role of Mrs. Astri, the owner of a haunted boarding house inhabited by a hanging pocong. Previously, director Rizal Mantovani had already informed Diah about the pocong.
"The director said, 'Diah, have you met a pocong? I'm scared myself.' Oh my, I thought, if the director is scared, how am I supposed to be? Then during the scene in the garage, when he (the pocong) appeared sitting down, I wasn’t acting. It was really scary, it was truly terrifying," said Diah Permatasari.
So scared, Diah admitted that she almost wet herself during the scene where she meets the ghost.
"Yes, but it's true that if I can't hold it, I might wet myself, that's true. During that scene, when the door was opened, it was really like that," said Diah Permatasari.
The actress and model from Surakarta revealed that during that tense moment, she was actually holding in her urge to urinate.
"I was already holding it in, but it wouldn't be funny to wet myself, right, Mrs. Astri? Well, you can understand that," she continued.
Diah Permatasari had to travel to Malang for the shooting of this film. REGO NYOWO is adapted from a viral story on platform X (formerly Twitter) titled Kosan Berdarah.
