Quiet Job in the Middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Chairul Giano Still Donates Masks and Hand Sanitizers

Giano admitted that many of his jobs had to be canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus. Even his plan to release a new single had to be postponed for an indefinite period of time.

"Of course, I am also affected, like shooting being postponed, and I also have to delay working on my new single titled Aku Ikhlaskan," said Giano recently.

During the pandemic, Giano followed the government's advice to quarantine at home. And to continue earning income, Giano chose to sell crackers online.

"During the corona pandemic, most of my activities were at home, just tidying up the house, while selling crackers online," he said.

Although job opportunities were scarce, Giano still provided assistance to those affected by the coronavirus. On April 18th, Giano carried out a social action by distributing masks, hand sanitizers, and food boxes in the Depok area. He even personally went to the field to distribute them.

"I distributed masks in the Depok and Margonda areas. I distributed 500 masks and 200 hand sanitizers. Alhamdulillah, I personally went to motorcycle taxi bases, vegetable vendors, parking attendants, and people on the side of the road. It felt really sad when I directly saw their situation, especially motorcycle taxi drivers who said they were struggling a lot during this corona pandemic," he expressed.

3. Chairul Giano's Message to the Public

Just like all of us, Chairul Giano also hopes that this pandemic will end soon so that the public can resume normal activities. He never forgets to remind us all to maintain our health, cleanliness, and stay at home.

"For the people of Indonesia, please take care of your health, stay at home, follow what the government says, hopefully all of this will end and we can all fight against this corona. Hopefully, everyone is under the protection of Allah SWT," he concluded.
