Raffi Ahmad Shares Exciting Moments from the Red and White Cabinet Retreat in Magelang, Mentions Prabowo Wants to Create a Superteam, Not Superman

"Yesterday was very lively, very fun, and most importantly, it was the togetherness," he said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/10/2024). 

Raffi also added that those moments provide an opportunity to build chemistry among the President, Vice President, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Heads of Agencies involved. 

Although filled with a number of physical activities, including marching drills, this father of three explained that the training carries important values, especially in terms of discipline. 

"There is a philosophy behind why we march, because one person is taught discipline. The more beautiful the marching is when done together, so we are taught unity, we are taught focus, and being assertive," explained Raffi.

For Raffi, this retreat activity is not just a physical exercise, but also an effort to create synergy among cabinet members. The father of three mentioned that President Prabowo wants all cabinet members to work collectively.

"Mr. Prabowo wants no one in this cabinet to be called Superman; he wants what we call a Superteam. The greatness of one person is not because of that one person, but because of the greatness of the team," said Raffi.

As a new cabinet member, Raffi also expressed his hope that he and his colleagues can contribute their best. "My prayer is for everyone in Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran's Cabinet, the Red and White Cabinet, to perform the best for everyone," he said. 

Raffi emphasized that this retreat is not only to foster a sense of togetherness but also to remind cabinet members of the importance of teamwork in achieving great goals. According to him, the retreat in Magelang provided valuable insights and new experiences for all parties.

In addition, Raffi feels that this experience will help him carry out his role with more confidence over the next five years. As the President's Special Envoy, he hopes to make a positive impact in the government together with all cabinet members.

Through this retreat, Raffi Ahmad believes that the team spirit created can be a key asset for the Merah Putih Cabinet in moving forward, realizing the goals and ideals that have been planned.
