Re-establish Communication with Andrew Andika After Giving Birth to Their Second Child, Tengku Dewi: Making Peace with the Situation

Kapanlagi.com - The artist Tengku Dewi Putri has finally re-established communication with her husband, Andrew Andika, after their relationship became strained due to allegations of infidelity. Tengku Dewi is now trying to make peace with the situation for the sake of their children.

"After this problem, I tried to make peace with the situation. I already have two children with him; if I cut off communication, it wouldn’t be good for my child, no matter how long the relationship between a child and their father lasts," said Tengku Dewi at RSPI, Bintaro, South Tangerang, Friday (2/8/2024).

"As for whether to get back together or not, for now, it's still a work in progress because in court, one cannot file for divorce while pregnant, so it’s on hold for now, but the process continues," she added.

1. Back to Communicating

Tengku Dewi admitted that she has started to open communication with Andrew Andika after the birth of their second child.

"It's because of my child's birth that communication is opening up. The block has started to be lifted. It seems to be because of Dr. Richard Lee as well. Uniting, but indeed all processes are still ongoing," she said.

2. Andrew Andika Azani Second Child

Although he was not present during the delivery process, Tengku Dewi mentioned that Andrew Andika participated in the azan ceremony for their second child.

"When the baby was born, the father also performed the azan, held the baby, skin to skin, just like any normal parents. So, my second and first child are no different. But indeed, he was not in the operating room, not accompanying me," she said.

"Because as you all know, I am currently in the process. So I made the decision for my child to still receive love from both parents. The father accompanied, in a different room," she added.

3. Already Discussed With the Hospital

Tengku Dewi revealed that before calling to prayer for her second child, Andrew Andika had discussed this matter with the hospital.

"So there was indeed a conversation with the hospital, the doctor also really understood my position which was still uncertain regarding the status, 'What should I do, doc, so that the father can still call to prayer for his child?'" she concluded.
