Received News While Being the MC at a Wedding Event, Irgi Fahrezi's Mother Passed Away

Kapanlagi.com - Deep sorrow is being felt by the artist and presenter Irgy Ahmad Fahrezi. His beloved mother, Ietje Sumargi, passed away at the age of 71 on Sunday (23/6) at 19:31 WIB.

The body of Ietje Sumargi was buried at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta on Monday (24/6) noon. Irgi Fahrezi recounted the chronology of his beloved mother's departure.

"The chronology was very quick because I didn't have any premonition. Yesterday, before she passed away, she only had complaints about her knee," said Irgi when met at the mourning house in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Monday (24/6).

1. Mother's Complaint a Day Before Passing Away

Irgi Fahrezi also explained that a day before her passing, her mother complained about pain in her knee. The complaint was already addressed by taking Ietje Sumargi to the doctor.

"Lunch was normal, then we bought medicine before going home. The next day, I didn't call or WhatsApp because I had work as an MC," she continued.

2. Irgi Doesn't Know the Exact Cause of Her Mother's Death

Irgi received the sad news while she was working as an MC at a wedding event. Upon hearing the news, Irgi immediately rushed to the hospital.

"Even when I arrived at the hospital, I was confused, felt sad but couldn't cry. It was only later in the evening when the body was brought home that I cried. It was really heartbreaking," she said.

Irgi doesn't know the exact cause of her mother's death. However, according to medical information, Ietje Sumargi was already unconscious and pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

"Medically, because my mom was unconscious and medically declared lifeless. If we want to know the cause, an autopsy is needed," she concluded.
