Recovering from Uterine Sarcoma, Alice Norin Changes Lifestyle to be Healthier

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Alice Norin recovers from uterine sarcoma. Now her condition is stable and she only needs to have routine check-ups every three months at a hospital in Singapore. Alice Norin has changed her lifestyle to be healthier after being diagnosed with sarcoma.

"Of course, much healthier. It's not perfect, but what I eat and drink affects it, and my late mother also had cancer," said Alice Norin in BSD Tangerang, recently.

"So she is healthy, but stress is the biggest trigger for diseases in the body, plus genetics," she added.

Alice explained that she now exercises regularly. Not only that, the 36-year-old woman also often consumes healthy food.

"Now I exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, and consume healthy food," said Alice.

1. High Sugar Levels

In addition, Alice also reduces consumption of food with high sugar levels. This is because she often buys sweet food and drinks.

"I really should avoid sugar, before I used to just order ice coffee, but I used to be a bit extreme. If I needed a booster or something at night, I would just add more sugar," said Alice Norin.

"So, I have to limit my sugar intake and avoid processed food. If possible, I eat chicken that is not processed. Sausages, meatballs, and nuggets are a no-no. I still eat vegetables, and if I want chicken, I just fry the whole piece. I drastically cut my sugar intake," Alice concluded.

2. Suffering from Sarkoma Cancer

Previously reported, Alice announced that she is suffering from sarkoma cancer, a rare cancer that develops in the uterine muscle. Alice Norin shared that she initially experienced pain in the lower abdomen in August 2023.

She had her condition checked by another doctor and was given the option of a risky surgery to remove the uterus, which could lead to early menopause.
