Regretting Salmafina & Taqy Malik's Marriage, Heidy Sunan: I Hope It Never Happened

In a recent interview with Orami Indonesia, the wife of Sunan Kalijaga expressed her biggest regret towards Salmafina Sunan. While crying, this beautiful hijab-wearing woman revealed how devastated she was when she found out that her daughter was divorced by Taqy Malik.

"I have even forgotten in which year Salmafina got married because it was not memorable for me. I mean, I wish I could erase all of it (the marriage)," regretted Heidy Sunan.

Not only that, Heidy Sunan also added, "So I really don't know when we separated, when we got married, I also don't know what year."

The heartache and regret that Heidy felt were so great that she didn't want to remember those bad memories anymore. So, how does Heidy as a mother help Salmafina Sunan during those bitter divorce times?

2. Don't Want to Add Burden to Salmafina

"I always tried to be there for her (Salmafina) at that time. If she cried, we cried together. If she wanted to do activities here and there, I accompanied her. Whenever she wanted to talk, she talked, but I never gave advice. I listened to her more at that time," Heidy answered.

According to her, Salmafina was already facing heavy problems at that time. She didn't want to add to her daughter's burden of being a widow at such a young age. "I tried to be there and be her friend at least at that time," she concluded.
