Related to Song Royalties, Inara Rusli Hopes Virgoun Will Give Her Rights Sincerely

Kapanlagi.com - Inara Rusli actually does not want to file a lawsuit in the Central Jakarta District Court regarding the royalties of four songs that are considered joint assets. The songs are "Surat Cinta Untuk Starla", "Bukti", "Orang Yang Sama", and "Saat Telah Kamu Mengerti".

Regarding this matter, Inara actually has a hope. Inara actually hopes that Virgoun will sincerely give her rights without her having to file a lawsuit in court.

"It's just funny, I mean if possible, quickly. No need to go through the green table, let's just discuss it, if we already agree, then we bring it to a notary or something like that," said Inara Rusli in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Saturday, (23/12/2023).

However, Inara was surprised when she found out that Virgoun transferred the royalties for four songs that should have been hers, to the music label.

"At first, I asked if those songs could be included in our joint assets, like that, because some of the songs were created during our marriage. Unfortunately, from the beginning, I had no knowledge of the agreement between him and the label (since I got married)," she said.

2. Taking Legal Action

Inara Rusli finally took legal action to fight for her rights to the royalties of those songs.

"Well, we live in a country governed by law, so whether we like it or not, it has to be brought to the legal realm," she said.

As known, Inara Rusli filed a lawsuit at the Central Jakarta District Court on December 14, 2023, after Virgoun transferred the royalties for four songs, which were considered joint assets, to the label.
