Related to the Case of Harvey Moeis, Sandra Dewi May Be Presented in Court

Kapanlagi.com - The trial of the corruption case involving PT Timah, which implicates the husband of artist Sandra Dewi, Harvey Moeis, is currently underway at the Corruption Court. Witnesses have started to be summoned to provide their statements regarding their knowledge of the alleged illegal mining in the IUP PT Timah area, which has caused state losses amounting to Rp 300 trillion.

In the indictment, Harvey received a flow of funds amounting to Rp 420 billion. However, as of the trial held on Monday (2/9) yesterday, Sandra Dewi herself has not yet been presented as a witness by the Public Prosecutor.

In fact, Sandra Dewi had previously been summoned by the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia to provide information regarding allegations of harboring the proceeds of her husband’s corruption. Not only that, but Sandra Dewi has also never attended to provide moral support for Harvey Moeis, who is facing a series of trials.

Regarding this matter, Harvey's legal team is reluctant to speak much about the presence of the 41-year-old woman.

"As for that, I don't know," said Andi Ahmad Nur Darwin, one of Harvey Moeis's lawyers, when met after the hearing.

2. Current Focus of the Prosecutor

Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor handling this case, Zulkipli, stated that his side still cannot confirm anything. This is because the prosecutor is still focused on presenting witnesses whose testimonies can be used to strengthen the charges.

"We'll see later. We will finalize the witness statements that we are focusing on for the charges first," said Zulkipli.

3. Sandra Dewi Will Be Presented in Court

When asked further, Zulkipli stated that Sandra Dewi will only be presented when the court begins the evidence stage regarding the alleged money laundering committed by the defendants, including Harvey Moeis. However, when her summons will take place is still uncertain.

"What is certain is that we will present her in order," he concluded.
