Related to the Ongoing Drug Case, Catherine Wilson Faces 20 Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - Catherine Wilson faces a serious threat of punishment in the drug case that ensnares her. The woman, who is familiarly known as Keket, faces a prison sentence of 20 years.

This was revealed by Herlangga Wisnu, the Intel Section Head of the Depok District Attorney's Office, when he was interviewed in his office on Monday afternoon (11/17). The Public Prosecutor also uses alternative articles with different penalties.

"Article 114 paragraph 1 along with article 132 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics carries a maximum penalty of 20 years and a minimum of 5 years," said Herlangga Wisnu, the Intel Section Head of the Depok District Attorney's Office.

"Then there is article 112 paragraph 1 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics along with article 132, which carries a maximum penalty of 12 years and a minimum of 4 years, and there is also article 127 paragraph 1a along with article 132 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, which carries a maximum penalty of 4 years," he continued.

1. Directed Towards Cilondong Prison

After the documents were declared complete or P21, Catherine Wilson was immediately escorted to Cilodong prison in Depok, West Java. There, she will be detained for the next 20 days and in the near future, Catherine Wilson's case will be tried at the Depok District Court.

"During those 20 days, the Public Prosecutor will make the indictment and immediately transfer it to the Depok District Court," he said.

Previously, Catherine Wilson was raided by authorities at her home in Pangkalan Jati, Cinere, Depok, on Friday, July 17, 2020. After undergoing a urine test examination, Catherine Wilson tested positive for methamphetamine.
