Being behind bars does not extinguish the spirit and passion for music of Ahmad Dhani. The musician who is currently detained in Surabaya has just released a box set entitled Ahmad Dhani Indonesia Song Book Vol 1. Mulan Jameela accompanied by Al and Dul inaugurated this work at their residence in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, on Monday (15/4).
"It contains 15 songs sung by Mr. Dhani, Dhani's old songs. Not only CDs, but also t-shirts, lyrics, Dhani's thoughts expressed in the form of pictures. There is also a certificate," said Mulan Jameela.
"Honestly, I don't know when he started making it, he is indeed fond of writing and editing pictures. So when he was in the 'pondok' as I call it, he only spoke to me and our family. He has this work," continued the second wife of Ahmad Dhani.
This box set also includes an unreleased diary and photos of Dewa 19. Mulan, Al, and Dul admit that this box set can satisfy the longing of music lovers in the country.
"Dad really loves documenting as a hobby since a long time ago. Every year there are photos. That's why they are collected here. There are many photos that people don't know about. This book is unique," said Al Ghazali.
"For a musician, it is not easy to create an album that is self-produced, from songs, mastering, concept, to full of surprises in this box set. I am grateful to have my father, a musician who I consider the Best," said Dul Jaelani.
During this release, the presence of politician Fadli Zon and Neno Warisman was also there. These two figures indeed share the same political views as Dhani.
"As a musician, Dhani is a living legend. A genius, his works are unpredictable and full of spontaneity. As a politician, his style is also wild," said Fadli Zon.

Ahmad Dhani underwent a verdict hearing on Monday (27/01/2019). Not alone, he was also accompanied by his two children, Al Ghazali and Dul Jaelani.
