"This is one of the songs I have been listening to since forever. I really liked watching Kak Sherina sing this song when I was little," said Mawar de Jongh.

"On the other hand, the verse of Cinta Pertama dan Terakhir reminds me of my family. At that time, I felt sad and alone. I was also afraid to tell anyone. It turns out, my family had a feeling that one of their members was sad and they embraced me so I wouldn't be sad anymore. I hope you enjoy and like this new version of the song," she continued.

Meanwhile, the music video First and Last Love was filmed at Joshua Tree National Park, United States. Coincidentally, Mawar de Jongh and her family were on vacation there.

Directed by videographers Leo Budirahardjo and Dikka Afidick, the video was made simple yet artistic with a melancholic touch.
