Responding to the Alleged Diamond Fraud Case of Rp18.5 Billion, Reza Artamevia: Just Pray That Everything Will Pass Well Soon

Kapanlagi.com - Reza Artamevia gave a brief comment regarding the alleged diamond business fraud case worth Rp18.5 billion that is currently being widely discussed. The singer hopes that the issue can be resolved soon and positively.

"Just pray that everything will pass well soon, okay," Reza said briefly when met by the media crew in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (19/11/2024).

After making that statement, Reza immediately got into his car without providing further details. This case began from Reza's report to the National Police Headquarters on November 6, 2024. He accused IM of not settling the remaining payment for the diamonds he sold. IM is said to have only paid part of the total price of the diamonds worth Rp150 billion.

However, IM gave a different response. Through its spokespersons, Priscilla and Fitri, IM claimed to have purchased nine diamonds from Reza for a total value of Rp18.5 billion. After being examined in the laboratory, the diamonds were declared synthetic.

The situation heated up when IM reported Reza to the Metro Jaya Police on November 14, 2024. The report included allegations of fraud and money laundering.

2. Taking Legal Action

Reza himself was questioned as a reporter at the National Police Headquarters on Friday (November 15, 2024). In his statement, Reza mentioned that IM had not made full payment since August 22, 2024, prompting him to decide to take legal action.

Until now, both parties remain steadfast in their respective versions. The legal process continues to seek clarity in this conflict.
