Venna Melinda Acknowledges Being Disturbed by the Wife Status on Her ID Card, Wants to Quickly Officially Divorce from Ferry Irawan

Kapanlagi.com - Venna Melinda continues to strive for her divorce process with Ferry Irawan to be completed soon. Venna stated that her parents, who are the main witnesses, are ready to attend the divorce hearing on November 28, 2024, at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

“I think mom and dad are the ones who know best how we both want to divorce. So mom and dad are very excited to come on the 28th. They also want their child to get legal certainty soon,” Venna revealed on Tuesday (11/19/2024).

Venna also explained that her personal administrative condition is disturbed because her divorce status has not been finalized. “In this situation, I can't change my Family Card and ID Card, so administratively it's a bit disrupted,” she added.

This divorce process is acknowledged by Venna as quite lengthy due to various legal efforts. However, she emphasizes that this is her right as a woman.

“If I don't make an effort, then I won't get divorced, because as a woman I also have rights. The right to be happy, especially since our ID cards and family cards cannot be changed just like that, unless there is a final decision,” Venna explained.

She also revealed strong reasons behind her third attempt to divorce. “The decision from the South Jakarta Religious Court yesterday could not replace the ID card or family card because it was not accompanied by an intermediary. That must be pursued until this point,” she asserted.

When asked if she regrets this long journey, Venna answered wisely. “Well if I regret it, it means I haven't learned, so rather than regret, just consider this a test of patience,” she said.

Venna sees this divorce process as a life lesson that she must go through. “Tests of patience come in various forms, and since I have been able to get through the domestic violence case, insyaallah I can get through the divorce as well,” she stated confidently.

3. Becoming More Cautious

At the age of 52, Venna admits to being more cautious and more rational in making decisions. “God willing, in the future I can be more careful, more rational. It seems that at the age of 52, I have learned enough. Now, when looking for a partner, one should not trust too easily, but rather trust in God,” said Venna.
