"I don't want to give too much advice, because it might be more harmful than beneficial," he said.

"Let Nathalie go through the process first, she has experienced a lot, and we don't really know what she has been through," added Ustaz Derry.

Moreover, Nathalie said that she will now get to know her religion better. If she decides to wear the hijab again, it will be her own will, not because she was told to.

"She said she wants to get to know herself better now. She wants to deepen her knowledge of Islam," said Ustaz Derry.

"I hope after this phase, Nathalie will wear a niqab," concluded Ustaz Derry.
