Revealing the Cause of Her Mother's Death, Tyas Mirasih: Diabetes and Hypertension

Kapanlagi.com - Amidst her sadness of losing her beloved one, artist Tyas Mirasih revealed the cause of her mother's death, Hedy Elias. It turns out that her late mother had been suffering from congenital diseases, namely diabetes and hypertension. Moreover, Hedy Elias also experienced kidney failure.

"Mama indeed had congenital diseases, diabetes and hypertension, but apparently we missed the kidney problem. Eventually, it became a complication," said Tyas after the funeral at TPU Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/5/2023).

"Maybe my family and I lacked education about kidney failure. Hence, we were a bit late when suddenly Mama's condition worsened and she was taken to the hospital. After being checked, her kidney was problematic and became a complication," Tyas added.

1. Hospitalized for 2 Months

Hedy Elias was hospitalized for almost two months until she passed away on Wednesday (24/5/2023) at around 05.27 WIB at Permata Cibubur Hospital. "Actually, she had been recovering, but Allah had a different plan. Suddenly, her condition dropped again, it was too chaotic in her body, it was complicated," said Tyas.

"She was conscious and suddenly returned to normal. A week ago, the doctor said, 'she can be homecare now,' we were looking for a bed, preparing other things, but suddenly her condition dropped again," Tyas added.

2. Many Accompanied Her

Tyas is grateful for relatives and friends who knew the deceased for taking the time to accompany her to her final resting place and also for praying.

"In the eyes of everyone who knows her, my mother is good. There is not one person who says that my mother is not a good person. So, she is someone who cares about others," she concluded.
